Welcome to Meggernie Estate


Meggernie Estate extends to some 37,000 acres on which there is an active farming operation, with 3,500 acres of forestry as well as very significant sporting operations including red deer stalking, rough shooting, loch fishing and salmon fishing on the River Lyon.

Meggernie Estate offers Self Catering Cottages, Shooting and Fishing, set in the Longest, Loneliest and Loveliest glen of Highland Perthshire.

We have Sporting packages offering Red Deer stalking, Rough shooting, Loch fishing and Salmon fishing on the River Lyon.

Meggernie Estate can offer permits for trout fishing – both river and loch – available from the Post Office at Bridge of Balgie.
